Besides the big risk I took parking at the theater, something(s) in the movie bothered me....
SPOILERS BELOW:

Despite the tie-in with Jeep, the Wrangler commercials with Jeff Goldblum, etc, there were NO JEEP WRANGLERS in the whole movie.
There was but ONE Jeep, and it wasn’t even a modern one. I think David Tracy will like it. When someone posts a screenshot of it
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Also, I didn’t pay the MOST attention to the last movie, except when they uncovered the old YJ Wranglers, but I don’t recall seeing any Explorers?
Yet there was one, turned over and tires chewed off in the new movie.

The tour vehicles were Explorers, apparently.

Yeah I was doing some Googling and the original movie took place on the same island as the new movies, hence why they found the Wranglers last movie, and the Explorer this movie. .. its supposed to be THE Explorer that was attacked by the T Rex in the original Jurassic Park, even though the wrong tire is eaten off, and the wrong door is open.
But still... No Wranglers??

Hot take, I didn’t like it all that much.
They should have drawn it out differently, the way the “big baddie dinosaur ” at the end died seemed cheap to me. Also really disliked how they opened it up for a sequel, and the whole premise that the genie is out of the bottle and this is our life now, just doesn’t hold water. The dinosaurs aren’t supposed to be able to breed, I would imagine they would have designed that loophole out for the park dinos this time around to correct the mistake from last time.

The ‘genie’ is their ability to clone/create/gene-edit dinosaurs. They had the ‘building blocks’ in that case at the end, and their sale of those dinos
to other people allows anyone else with access to ‘cloning’ tech to create their own copies. In all the previous films, the tech to make new dinos had been exclusively
owned by Ingen. I did not read anything about breeding into the statements made at the end of the movie.

I was thinking more so the Isla Nubla dinosaurs that got away.

Took the kids yesterday. Meh... not bad but not great. Agreed about the final fight. I guess making new ways for dinos fight is hard.
